Song Dynasty experienced both triumphs and setbacks. He launched a campaign against the Jin dynasty, which ultimately led to the downfall of Jin and the reunification of China under Song rule. However, his reign was also marked by internal strife, corruption, and external threats from the Mongol Empire.

Despite these challenges, Zhao Lun remained committed to his vision for a prosperous and harmonious society. He promoted Confucianism and encouraged education, hoping to create a more just and equitable society.

However, as time went on, Zhao Lun's personal life became increasingly tumultuous. His relationship with his favorite concubine, Lady Yamanaka (阎贵妃), became strained due to her increasing influence over him. She was known for her beauty but also her cunning nature.

In his later years, Zhao Lun's health began to decline rapidly. Despite efforts by physicians from across the land to cure him of various ailments he had accumulated during his reign in power that lasted 40 years before passing away at age 60 in 1264 AD., leaving behind an empire in disarray.

The legacy of Song Dynasty under Zhao Lun remains complex - one part triumphal military campaigns; another part chaotic social upheaval; yet another part philosophical introspection through Confucian teachings.

His death left behind many controversies about succession as well as what should be done after death so much confusion arose among people whether he should have been buried or cremated but all agreed on giving him an imperial burial site called "永穆陵" (Yongmu Tomb).

His story is not only one of intrigue but also one that highlights how even those who hold great power are subject to forces beyond their control: fate has its way with them sometimes too!
