Hey there, friends! Today I'm going to tell you a super fun Chinese legend! You know how sometimes we hear stories from our grandparents or parents about magical creatures and heroes? Well, let me share one with you that's really cool.

Once upon a time in ancient China, there was a brave warrior named Chang'e. She had the power of flight and could shoot arrows like nobody else. One day while she was on her way back home after defeating some evil demons, she met an old man who turned out to be the Moon God.

The Moon God offered her an elixir that would grant eternal youth and make her invincible but warned her not to drink it during the day. Chang'e thought this was just what she needed so took a sip before realizing too late that it made her unable to return to Earth!

Now every month when the moon is full, people say Chang'e lives on the moon with her pet rabbit Yutu (which means "jade rabbit" in Chinese). They're said to have tea parties under the light of the full moon – isn't that lovely?

And here's my attempt at telling this story in 80 words:

In ancient China, brave warrior Chang'e shot arrows like no other. Meeting Moon God who offered eternal youth elixir but warned against daytime use - too late for Chang'e! Now under full moonlight, people believe she & pet Yutu live on moon having tea parties - isn't that wonderful?
