金蝉子的前身是什么呢，他又为什么叫做金蝉子呢?洪荒年间有五虫，为祸人间，当时是妖魔横行的年代，是妖族最为昌盛的年代，而五虫的老大是六翅天蚕。六翅天蚕可以说是妖界的巨头，专吃六道生灵，无人可以抵挡他。大家应该猜到了六翅天蚕就是金蝉子的前身，这也是他为什么叫金蝉子的原因，他本来就是虫类。

佛祖费尽九牛二虎之力才把六翅天蚕收服，如来想我的手下刚好没有什么厉害的人物，可以把六翅天蚕收服当自己的徒弟。如来把六翅天蚕收为第二，从此世上没有六翅天蚕只有金蝉子。金�5299陪着如来发展壮大佛门，慢慢的佛教壮大了，这时候如来说怕那一日被自己手下压制。

The preincarnation of Tang Sanzang, also known as Gold Butterfly, is a fascinating story that can be found in Chinese mythology. Before he became the timid and cowardly monk we know from Journey to the West, Gold Butterfly was once a powerful and evil being who caused chaos in heaven and earth.

In ancient times, there were five insects wreaking havoc on human society during an era when demons ran rampant. This was a time when demon tribes flourished at their peak. The leader among these five insects was none other than Six-winged Sky Silkworm, who could be considered the supreme ruler of the demonic realm. His appetite for devouring six kinds of living beings left no one untouched.

It is evident that Six-winged Sky Silkworm is indeed Gold Butterfly's past life - this explains why he came to be known as Gold Butterfly. He was originally an insect himself.

Buddha exerted immense effort akin to moving nine oxen or two tigers before finally subduing Six-winged Sky Silkworm. Seeking someone formidable enough for his retinue, Buddha chose Six-winged Sky Silkworm as his disciple under his own tutelage.

Thus began a new era where there existed only one entity - Gold Butterfly instead of Six-winged Sky Silkworm. As Gold Butterfly accompanied Buddha in expanding Buddhist teachings throughout China and beyond, Buddhism gradually gained prominence while simultaneously causing concern within Buddha himself about potential future threats from such power.

At some point during an assembly meeting organized by Buddha wherein he delivered sermons on Buddhist principles while everyone else dozed off (a common occurrence even today), it seemed like nothing more than ordinary slumber; however, it served as grounds for suspicion towards Gold Butterf
