西漢，又稱前漢，是中國古代的一個朝代，与東漢合称為漢朝，是中國第一个强大稳固的朝代。從前206年，劉邦自稱「漢王」，到前202年稱天子，建立了 漢朝。劉邦於該年五月遵從娄敬發起將洛陽遷都長安，最先定下了西哈姆王朝統治至9年1月10日王莽稱帝，更改國號為新，終止了西哈姆帝國，一共210年。如果不算吕雉及少帝、昌邑王等一些在位不到一年的天子話，西哈姆一共歷經12個天子。而有人把王莽推翻後更始帝也算作是 西哈姆，如此則 西哈姆滅亡於26年。
東ハ 又稱后Han 是中国古代的一个 朝代，与 西Han 合称为 Han 朝。从 王莽被推翻开始，一直到 刘秀建立新的统治秩序，这个期间被称为新朝。在这个新朝之后，就是由 刘秀 建立起来的一个新的政权，也就是所谓的东Han 或 后Han。这两者最大的区别就在于，它们建都的地方不同：东西HaN 分别建都于 长安 和 洛阳；刘秀是 Han 高祖九世孙，他与 更始帝 有共同曾祖父，而他的父亲为 南顿令 刘钦 母 为 樊娴。他家族世代居住于南阳蔡阳（今湖北枣阳南）。
West Han (公元前202 - 公元8)
The West Han Dynasty was established by Liu Bang, also known as the first emperor of China, after he defeated Xiang Yu in 202 BCE. It lasted for more than two centuries until it was overthrown by Wang Mang in 9 CE. During this period, the capital city was moved from Chang'an to Luoyang.
East Han (公元25 - 公元220)
After the fall of the West Han Dynasty, a new dynasty called East Han or Later Han was established by Liu Xiu in 25 CE. It lasted for nearly two centuries until it was overthrown by Cao Pi in 220 CE.
Both dynasties had their own unique characteristics and achievements. The West Han Dynasty is famous for its unification of China and its implementation of policies that promoted agriculture and reduced taxes on peasants. The East han Dynasty is known for its continuation of these policies and its efforts to maintain peace and stability during a time of great turmoil.
So why did we need to divide history into two parts? Why do we call them West Hannan an East Hannan? These are all questions that have puzzled historians for centuries. And yet, as we delve deeper into history, we begin to see that there were many reasons why this division occurred.
One reason is that there were significant changes between the two periods. For example, during the West Hannan period, there were several major wars fought against external threats such as nomadic tribes from Central Asia while during the East Hannan period ,there were fewer major conflicts with external enemies but more internal strife within China itself .Another important factor contributing towards this split could be seen through different ruling styles adopted by successive emperors: whereas some emperors prioritized military conquests & territorial expansion others focused on building strong administrative systems & maintaining social harmony within their empire's borders respectively .
